You can edit your business listing on the SRBA website.

If you look in the footer of our website you will see a list of page links for members. You can claim your business, edit your business listing, renew your membership, and submit your events to have them posted in our events calendar.

If you've become a member with in the last year you can use the username and password that you created when you registered on our website to login and edit your business listing. If you have been a member for some time you will need to claim your business before you're able to edit it.

The business editor allows you to enter a lot more information then you were able to enter on your application, and also update any thing you entered in your application. You can add your company logo, a description of your business, your business' social media pages, a featured image, and more.

September General Membership Meeting

Members of SRBA visited the new Slippery Rock Community Library for the September general Membership meeting. The previous library in Slippery Rock Community Park was 283 square feet and is inadequate to meet the needs of our community. Continuing increases in the number of patrons and in the number of materials circulated caused the need for a new facility.

As the role of libraries continues to change, having a larger facility will enable the staff and the board to better fulfill the library's mission: "The Slippery Rock Community Library provides a welcoming environment while connecting people to services, activities and technology to enrich life, foster literacy, inspire curiosity and stimulate imagination."

Upcoming Events

Wednesday October 17th
SRBA, in conjunction with the Butler, Mercer, Grove City and Shenango Valley Chambers of Commerce, will be offering a Meet and Move Luncheon at Grove City College. This event will replace our monthly membership meeting and is a great way to network with Chambers from surrounding areas. Details are below and reservations can be made my emailing Jennifer at the Butler County Chamber of Commerce (email address is above).

SRBA general membership meeting at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Grove City

Saturday November 17th
SRBA in conjunction with Slippery Rock Development will once again be sponsoring Slippery Rock’s annual light up night. The committee has already begun to plan things such as live music and a tree lighting. Last year we had many Main Street businesses stay open late, and offer specials, refreshments, or host an activity such as face painting. We would like to continue to grow the participation so please let me know how you would like to be involved!
There will also be a decorating contest for all Main Street and surrounding businesses so please help us make Main Street sparkle.

We are putting together the 2019 SRBA monthly membership meeting schedule and are looking for host/speakers for each month. As a reminder, the host provides the luncheon and the speaker makes a presentation. You choose to be both or we would be happy to pair you with another business if you would like to only host or speak. These spots fill up fast, so please let Lara Wozniak, or our meeting coordinator, Kara Shuty know ASAP.
